Mercedes Benz Australia Fashion Week
Thursday, May 17th, 2012The last two weeks have been a whirlwind to say the least. Finally I have some time to catch up and compile this post on our beautiful suite at The Shangri-La hotel Sydney for Mercedes Benz Australia Fashion Week where we previewed to media and buyers our Spring Summer 12/13 collection. Whilst I still want to keep some details under wraps until we officially release the collection, I thought it would be fun to show you the highlights. SS 12/13 is all about sun drenched days spent in bleached out denims and white linens with stacked Italian snake embossed leathers in crisp whites and bleached out baby blues. You will be pleasantly surprised by our injection of fluro which nicely offsets the subtleties of the other bleachy tones and whilst it is a bit of a shock to the system I just cannot wait to layer up the soft embossed fluro leather cuffs with our new silk braided rose gold cut out bracelets.

Today I managed to find the beauty in the first blooms of the winter kale flowers and rays of sunshine cutting through the cool over Bondi. Here are my snaps. xx

Wednesday, May 9th, 2012Don’t forget Mother’s day is this Sunday and we have a beautiful selection of gifts to shower your mother in! These are some nostalgic shots that I uncovered from one of my mother’s old albums. As I turned the pages the yellowed photos would drop out, a testament to their age. I was enchanted by her rich memories and her natural beauty. A child of the 70′s in her billowy white tops and Indian pashminas. Why oh why wasn’t I born in this era?
